My love for fiber art began when I was a child, when my mother and grandmother taught me how to knit, crochet and sew clothes. Since then, my interests have evolved into a fascination with the moldable properties of wool and my focus on felted garments and accessories.
I enjoy combining fibers, like silk and wool, as well as spinning my own yarn for knitting. My wearable art is not only aesthetically pleasing and useful, but ecologically friendly, as I use reclaimed and renewable fibers in all of my pieces.
I became a member of the Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery in 2014 and have enjoyed being part of such a well-organized and creative group of artists.
