Marla rudnick

Marla S. Rudnick's early studies of knitting and metal work merged into an exploration of knitting precious metals into wearable art. Her jewelry creates a metal fabric which can be formed into necklaces, earrings, pendants and pins. Each exceptional piece may be decorated with pearls, stones or simply adorned with gold or silver.

She has trained at Fleischer Art Memorial in Philadelphia, PA, Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven, CT, Philadelphia College of Art, and The Craft Alliance in Saint Louis, MO. In 2007, Marla received an Honorable Mention in Fiber from the Creative Craft Council of Washington, DC for her collar Petals, and an award for innovative use of materials in 2009 for Transition.
